And it’s without much surprise that the MVP title for the going phase of the season is awarded to… Phenom from 00NATION! Gifted with utmost calm, the Norwegian player showed multiple times that he knows how to get out of tough situations! Let’s take a look back at some of his best moves, as he has many things to teach us!
Arman Hanjani – aka Phenom – is a Norwegian player who is making his way with 00NATION. Since the launch of the Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2023, he has really stood out from the other participants by offering epic matches and amazing combos.
Thanks to a surprising surge of energy and a strong team cohesion, he climbed to the top of the leaderboards. The first two weeks of competition did not go as the team had hoped, but Phenom’s vivacity seems to have rubbed off on his teammates in the weeks that followed.
During week #3, he greatly surprised us by putting The4Philzz from Wolves Esports against the wall. The Norwegian player seemed to have a third eye that allowed him to read through his opponents’ game, as the English player was unable to do anything to stop the demon sleeping inside Phenom. Although his pick was favorable to him (Ken), he clearly demonstrated that he mastered the character perfectly.
And it wasn’t a one-time shot! Phenom did it again in week #4, this time against BMS, the team who won the silver medal last year. Facing Valmaster and his Chun-Li, Phenom once again exhibited great calm and an exceptional game vision which allowed him to turn the situation around. Always reading his opponent like an open book, he was able to find the right opportunities to win the game and thus make his team shine.
He offered us this style of gameplay throughout the first half of the season. Is it some kind of a trademark? In any case, we love it! No one seems to be able to apprehend him, not even Takamura, a big name in the Street Fighter esport scene, who couldn’t knock him off his pedestal. He undoubtedly presents himself as the best Ken player in the entire competition.
