The Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2023 is finally kicking off this friday. And get ready for great matches, as big names from last year’s edition will be battling it out!
GUILD ESPORTS vs. BMS
On this first week of competition, a total of six teams will face each other, bringing us our first electric encounters. The two first teams to take the plunge are none other than BMS, the French team that came second in the Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2022, and Guild Esports, a brand new team made up of former Wild Blast players.
BK ROG vs WOLVES ESPORTS / MOUZ vs. 00NATION
The hostilities will continue with a match between BK ROG, the second French team in the tournament, and Wolves Esports, a brand-new team representing the UK. Finally, a face-off between MOUZ, the 2022 EUROPEan Champions, and 00NATION, the Norwegian team that finished third in the Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2022, will conclude the first week.
We can expect a wide variety of fighters to appear on the ring, like Chun-Li, JP, Luke, Cammy, Ken, Ryu, and maybe Mister Crimson’s iconic Dhalsim. With so many characters played by such prestigious players, these first matches are going to be a real eye-opener.
As for the players themselves, they all seem to have a good head on their shoulders, as we noticed while discussing with each team captain prior to the kick-off. They are confident in their ability to perform and they trust the training they all have gone through. So there’s a good chance that the competitors will come on stage to kick down every door they can and prove that they have the mental strength and experience to score top marks!
