WEEK 10 – HIGHLIGHTS

Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2023 - Week #10 Highlights

The regular season of the Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2023 has finally come to an end! And the competing teams tried their best to rank as high as possible! Which teams have been granted access to the Playoffs? Find the answer right here!

BK ROG vs. 00NATION

The final week of the regular season kicked off with a clash between two highly promising teams: BK ROG Vs. 00NATION. The match wasn’t a walk in the park for the Norwegians, as it was BK ROG who emerged victorious with 30 points. However, this victory was not enough to allow the French team to steal the third place from 00NATION. That said, Luffy and his teammates are proudly heading to the quarterfinals, alongside Phenom’s team.

Talking about Luffy, BK ROG’s captain put on a great show against Phenom, our going phase MVP. The French player managed to knock his enemy off his pedestal by annihilating his tireless Ken. Playing Manon, Luffy demonstrated a keen understanding of his opponent’s playstyle and proved he could beat one of the most challenging characters of the game.

MOUZ  vs. GUILD

The evening went on with the face-off between MOUZ and Guild Esports. And against all odds, Problem X’s team struggled greatly as they lost the match, allowing Guild Esports to secure 30 points. Hopefully for the rodents, because of 00NATION’s performance, their defeat does not cause them to drop in the rankings. Thus, MOUZ remain in second place while Guild Esports’ journey in the competition ends in sixth place.

Guild Esports’ victory was perfectly reflected in VegaPatch’s performance against MysticSmash, one of the best players of the return phase. With his Chun-Li, VegaPatch demonstrated great calm and impeccable precision to deliver a perfect score. He showed the very essence of a beautiful Street Fighter gameplay in just one round.

BMS vs. WOLVES ESPORTS

Finally, the regular season concluded with a battle between BMS and Wolves Esports. And it was a very tight game. The Frenchies won with just 25 points on the board, which is not a problem in itself as they could even afford a defeat. Indeed, since the beginning of the return phase, Kilzyou and his teammates have put a lot of effort into creating a significant gap between them and their opponents. This strategy allowed them to maintain first place!

During this final match, one player from BMS really stood out: Akainu. With Guile, the French player displayed an excellent understanding of the game and a good control of his character, thus beating Shakz’s Luke and ending the Wolves’ journey in the tournament. If he shows the same confidence in the Playoffs, the other qualified teams will have cause for concern.

And that wraps up the regular season of the Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2023. Get ready to experience the greatest thrills of the competition next Friday with the launch of the Playoffs!
