With a new week of the Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2023 comes spectacular action that deserves a well-deserved second look. If you wish to watch or re-watch the best moves of the competition, you’re in the right place!
WOLVES vs. MOUZ
Once again, EndingWalker, one of MOUZ’s new members, proved that he is a talented
player. Thanks to an excellent vision of the game, he was able to mislead Popi and pushed him to drive his Cammy to burnout. A mistake that EndingWalker did not let pass, scoring a K.O. His teammates then followed his lead and achieved victory, putting Wolves Esports in a very tricky situation. After their striking failure against BK ROG last week, the British team was not able to collect enough points to secure a nice spot in the leaderboard. Fortunately, we are only at the start of the competition, so they still have some time to regain their footing!
00NATION vs. GUILD
The second round of matches has also been painful for some. Indeed, Guild Esports did
not hold back as they secured the second 40/0 of the season thanks to impressive combos.
At first, Phenom, 00NATION’s captain, did not let himself be discouraged and tried to keep his head above water during an intense mirror match (Ken Vs. Ken) against Takamura. But it was not enough to turn the tide to his advantage. Just when Takamura was on the decline, Phenom inadvertently opened his guard. Thus, Takamura pushed Phenom to his last limits, showing that this time, he was the best Ken player of the match.
Guild Esports prove that their previous defeat against the French team BMS was just a small hiccup. This week, the players came onto the scene in a new light: they were precise and they showed that they have the means necessary to reach victory.
BMS vs. BK ROG
Finally, two heavyweights faced each other: BMS and BK ROG. Intense combats took place during this last part, but the fight between Kilzyou and Kusanagi is the one that really got the attention. In unparalleled cordiality and serenity, Kusanagi perfectly managed to chain combos with his Luke to deliver a Perfect K.O. to Kilzyou’s Juri. Unfortunately, Kusanagi’s notable actions were not enough to win the game this time. But what’s certain is that these two rising stars have a lot of fight in them. Can’t wait to see what they will offer next!
The second week of competition showed that the level of play is really high this year. Many players stood out from the crowd by offering memorable actions with thoughtful match-ups. And even though there are some missteps, the cards are not yet dealt!
