WEEK 4 – HIGHLIGHTS

Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2023 - Week #4 Highlights

Need a quick debrief on what went down in the fourth week of the Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2023? You’re in luck! We’ve put together a recap of the notable actions that occurred during the event. Be warned, you’re in for a treat!

BK ROG vs. MOUZ

The first match pitted two victorious teams from last week : BK ROG against MOUZ. And we are not disappointed by the outcome, as the confrontation was very close from start to finish, with no player giving their opponent a chance to breathe. But ultimately, MOUZ took the win with a score of 25/20. If everything was thrilling to watch, one key moment stood out: the face-off between NassimClaw and Problem X.

Despite being in a very difficult position with his famous E.Honda, NassimClaw managed to anticipate the actions of Problem X’s Marisa with an Olympian calm. He seized every opportunity to deliver perfect combos and win the match 3 to 0. This victory allows his team to save 20 precious points. It just goes to show that even characters that we don’t usually see people play can do wonders!

BMS vs. 00NATION

Then, a clash between BMS and 00NATION followed. Unfortunately, the French team was unable to recover and suffered a crushing defeat. On the other hand, the Norwegian team seem to have regained their strength and continue their ascent with a new perfect score!

It was a really tough game for BMS. And for one good reason : Phenom once again showed his superiority with his Ken. Even when backed into a corner, he has this ability to read his opponents like an open book and find openings that allow him to win. Like Kilzyou, 00NATION’s captain must be watched closely, as he made his team shine once more.

WOLVES vs. GUILD

The fourth week of the Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2023 concluded with Wolves fighting Guild. Both teams were at the bottom of the leaderboard, so a victory was heavily anticipated on both sides. And that victory was won by Wolves thanks to Popi, who turned out to be the key element in giving his team hope.

Thanks to incredible composure, renewed confidence, and a keen understanding of his opponent’s game, Popi managed to pull off some very nice moves with his Cammy. As a result, Wolves Esports won the game with 30 points!

In general, BMS and Guild are in a tough position. Both teams seem to have lost confidence and are no longer able to counter their opponents. On the other hand, BK ROG, MOUZ and Wolves are ready to fight back, slowly but surely climbing the ladder. As for MOUZ, the reigning champions are stabilizing at the top of the leaderboard. However, the battle is not over yet! There are still many battles to be won before claiming the trophy, so see you next week to see. New turnarounds may present themselves!
