Did you miss the sixth week of the Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2023? Here’s a look back at some of our favorite moments, along with a rundown of the latest scores!
BMS vs. GUILD
The return phase began with an explosive match: BMS Vs. Guild Esports. The French team put in a top-quality performance, reaching a perfect score! Thanks to this, BMS reached the second place, stealing the spot from their rival team MOUZ.
That said, Guild Esports showed they don’t lack determination, which was a real pleasure to watch. For example, Suleymon proved that his team has what it takes to stand up to the other competing teams. During his confrontation with Kilzyou, the player from Glasgow rushed headlong into battle to make a comeback. In the end, this strategy paid off as he was able to win some of the exchanges. If Guilds Esports want to climb back up the rankings, every member needs to exhibit the same aggressiveness as Suleymon !
WOLVES vs. BK ROG
Next up was Wolves Esports Vs. BK ROG. With a final score of 25 to 20 for BK ROG, it was a very close match. In fact, everything was played out on a razor’s edge.
During this face-off, Kusanagi showed great aggression against The4Philzz. The French player made short work of his opponent who, in the corner of the stage, failed to counter most of the attacks. Thanks to this win, BK ROG widened the gap between themselves and the bottom of the leaderboard. Who knows, they could reach third place next week!
00NATION vs. MOUZ
Finally, the first day of the return phase ended with a clash between two titans: 00NATION Vs. MOUZ. The English team was clearly not in good form, as the Norwegian team won with 30 points. As a result, 00NATION are now alone at the top of the leaderboard, while MOUZ are down to third place.
00NATION owe their victory to Lord_Venom. The Polish player, already in the spotlight last week, is back with another fine game. During the BO5 for the 20 decisive points, he brought out his JP against EndingWalker‘s Ryu. Thanks to well-placed combos and a good vision of the game, he was able to annihilate his opponent. Lord_Venom offered EndingWalker no openings, which enabled him to win the set and send his team to the top of the rankings. With Phenom and Lord_Venom in their ranks, 00NATION seem to have it all!
In the end, with 165 points, 00NATION are in a good position to take the throne from the reigning champions, MOUZ. But the competition is far from being over. BMS moved to second place, followed by MOUZ who dropped to third place. BK ROG secured their previous spot in the leaderboard, while at the same time getting close to the third place. On the other hand, Guild Esports and Wolves Esports remain in fifth and sixth place, with a gap that continues to widen between them and the rest of the teams.
