WEEK 7 – HIGHLIGHTS

Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2023 - Week #7 Highlights

The seventh week of the Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2023 has just ended. And to say the least, we witnessed some truly impressive gameplay. Here’s a recap of the scores and a look back at some of the key actions!

MOUZ vs. WOLVES ESPORTS

The first battle pitted MOUZ against Wolves Esports. And, unsurprisingly, the team led by Problem X came out victorious by securing 30 precious points. That said, it wasn’t an easy win for the British rodents!

Indeed, Wolves Esports did not take things lying down and pushed MOUZ to their limits on several occasions. But Problem X did not back down and managed to maintain his team’s lead in the rankings by executing effective moves against Popi’s Chun-Li. In the BO5, the Blanka player was able to break Popi’s guard with a Drive Reversal. He then launched into a series of impressive combos and ended the fight with a Punish Counter. This sequence earned MOUZ the victory, despite unwavering determination from Wolves Esports.

GUILD ESPORTS vs. 00NATION

Next up was Guild Esports Vs. 00NATION. And this time, the latter prevailed with a score of 30/10, thus making us forget their previous defeat against JokerJokez’s team.

00NATION clearly hadn’t gotten over the perfect score that Guild Esports had inflicted on them in the going phase of the competition. And Phenom made it known!  Playing Ken, the Norwegian captain avenged his team by easily defeating Suleymon‘s Kimberly. As a result, Guild Esports stay at the bottom of the rankings, while 00NATION remain in a good spot.

BK ROG vs. BMS

The evening came to a close with a face-off between BK ROG and BMS.  And once again, Luffy’s team took a heavy hit, with their French counterparts achieving another perfect score.

Nevertheless, BK ROG believed in victory until the end, as NassimClaw once more demonstrated the power of his E.Honda. Even though Mister Crimson was playing his Dhalsim, it didn’t stop NassimClaw from landing a sublime perfect on his opponent. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to win the extra points needed to catch up in the rankings.

In general, there hasn’t been much movement in the leaderboard since last week, except for the top spot. BMS have reached first place thanks to their last victory. 00NATION are now second with a narrow gap of just 5 points. MOUZ, on the other hand, remain in third place with a slight gap of 20 points, right behind the Norwegian team. As for BK ROG, they maintain their fourth place, followed by Guild Esports (5th) and Wolves Esports (6th).
