The holiday season is behind us, but not the Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2023! The competition is still in full swing with its eighth week of matches. And the new year begins with a very electric atmosphere, as many showdowns are eagerly anticipated. Here’s what’s on schedule for this Friday!
WOLVES ESPORTS vs. 00NATION
The year 2024 will kick off with a clash between Wolves Esports and 00NATION. The first is at the bottom of the leaderboard while the latter is at the top. If the odds are in the Norwegians’ favour, an unexpected turn of events could well prove us wrong. That’s what we hope for Wolves Esports who start the year with a fight against a formidable opponent!
BMS vs. MOUZ
The evening will continue with a legendary battle: BMS Vs. MOUZ. Last season’s finalists will have to do it all over again. In their last confrontation, MOUZ emerged victorious. However, the French team could well reverse the trend, as it has been racking up perfect scores for two weeks. Will the French team be able to keep their current place at the top of the rankings ? In any case, we are certain that this match will provide a great show!
BK ROG vs. Guild Esports
The eighth week of competition will conclude with a face-off between BK ROG and Guild Esports. Unfortunately for both teams, they did not experience favourable matches last week. BK ROG suffered a crushing defeat against BMS, while Guild Esports only gathered 10 points which was not enough to keep their heads above water. In other words, this encounter is crucial for the rest of the return phase. Expect a relatively aggressive game!
The tension is starting to rise, as the Playoffs are fast approaching. After this week, there will only be two matches left to earn precious points in an attempt to climb up the leaderboard. They must not run out of steam along the way, as no mistakes are allowed.
