WEEK 9 – HIGHLIGHTS

Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2023 - Week #9 Highlights

The ninth week of the Street Fighter League: Pro-EUROPE 2023 is already behind us, and you wish to be up to speed with the rankings and the latest memorable actions? Find all the information you need below!

MOUZ vs. BK ROG

The first match of the evening pitted MOUZ against BK ROG. This encounter was important for both teams, as MOUZ were aiming to reclaim second place, while BK ROG were looking to snatch the third place from the rodents. Who came out on top? The answer is… MOUZ !

The French team tried to maintain an offensive momentum in all of their fights. Unfortunately, it was not enough to claim victory. Problem X’s team won the match with 30 points, which allows them to climb back up to second place. That said, a British player did not offer the best action of the game. It was actually one of Luffy’s teammates: NassimClaw!

Once again, NassimClaw made the headlines with his legendary E.Honda. Despite a particularly complex match-up, he didn’t flinch and delivered a turnaround that we rarely see in this level of competition. His opponent, Broski, learned it the hard way, with a Perfect K.O.

00NATION vs. BMS

00NATION and BMS then took over the stage. And here too, the stakes were high for both teams, as the Norwegians were also aiming to reach first place. But things did not go as planned for 00NATION. BMS demonstrated great mental strength and managed to keep their spot at the top of the leaderboard by winning the match with 30 points.

Valmaster was the player that really stood out in this face-off. With his Chun-Li, he put significant pressure on Lord_Venom and gave him no quarter. It was a great way for BMS to take their revenge after their defeat against the Norwegian team in the going phase.

Guild Esports vs. Wolves Esports

Finally, the evening ended with a match between the two teams currently at the bottom of the leaderboard, namely Guild Esports and Wolves Esports. Unfortunately for JokerJokez’s team, their opponents seem to have regained the necessary stamina to climb up the rankings. As a result, Guild Esports remain in last place, while Wolves Esports are slowly but surely closing the gap between them and the fourth place.

Wolves Esports’ determination was perfectly embodied by The4Philzz. During his fight against Suleymon, he demonstrated excellent game vision and prevented the British player from launching powerful combos. A similar gameplay will most certainly be useful next week!

In summary, BMS continues to dominate the rankings with 260 points, followed by 00NATION with 215 points. MOUZ stays in third place with 205 points, while BK ROG remains stuck in fourth place with 175 points. If luck is on their side, Wolves Esports still have a chance to qualify for the Playoffs with their 140 points. We can’t say the same for Guild Esports who lurk at the very bottom of the leaderboard with 100 points.

Next week, the tension will be at its peak and we anticipate many emotional roller coasters. So be there to follow the final day of competition before the launch of the Playoffs!
